A weekend of shows

I know I am little late in writing. I am going to try and write every Sunday night. I have spent the last 2 days reinstalling after a computer crash Sunday morning. Anyway...

I had a couple of shows this past weekend and had a blast. Friday night I was in Enfield at Fermi High School. We had some great volunteers (18 to be exact); but 3 in particular caught my attention. (See photo). These three went the extra mile to design tshirts that read "Hypnotize Me !" They made my night. And I really appreciated all the family and community support for this show. Plus an extra special treat for me was seeing my oldest friend in Connecticut and his wife, Steve and Jan. It is always a fun when they are in the audience. Anyway there are many photos from this show on my web site. I had so much fun that I really hope we can do this again.
My Saturday night show was something very different. I was a 30th birthday party. What was different was not the idea of entertaining at a party like this but where it was held. It was held in a very small clubhouse. If you have ever heard the expression..."putting 10 pounds of **** in a 5 pound bag", well this is what I had to perform in. Not that I minded but the crowd, and I do mean crowd, was so close to the volunteers. But this group was perfect. They allowed me the opportunity to do what I do to get the volunteers hypnotised. Once they were, boy did we have fun. The five that remained in a trance we terrific and you can 'bet your ass' on that. Thanks Jenn for inviting me out to help celebrate Chris' 30th.
Well, now a few days of rest then I am on my way for 3 shows this week; in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island. See you all soon.

People need to laugh... even during a recession

Well, the slow winter months are behind me. I am getting ready to start up again and entertain at the many high schools throughout New England and Long Island. The slower months gave me a chance to prepare a bunch of new routines. I am pretty excited about trying them out.

Even though we are in a recession, I believe we all need a temporary diversion from all the stress. I also believe that is why my spring and summer schedule is almost full. I feel priviledged that for a couple of hours, I am able to get people to forget about the economy, unemployement, and the day to day stresses that is now part of our daily life.

I still have dates available for your group, school or organization. I have many proven ideas to help raise money. Fundraising for schools and organizations has been a specialty. Give me the opportunity to discuss your needs and how my comedy hypnosis show can fit the bill.

My first entry

Welcome everyone !

I am finally getting around to writing a blog about my comedy hypnosis shows. I have been performing for 22 years and many funny and amazing things have happened during my shows. From this point on I will try and relate my stories to you on why I find this an awesome way to earn a living. I hope you can take the time to write about what you saw during my show, your oppinions and your stories as well.

Check back weekly to see other goings on.

Bye for now... Steve
